Initially designed to help manage forests and prevent wildfires, the news of the world's first mobile biochar production machine spread quickly. Today, the upgraded CharBoss is used in forest management and the agricultural and construction industries. The timing couldn't be better. We collect tons of waste annually—70 million+ tons—but recycle only 48%. Thanks to Air Burners’ CharBoss, that’s changing for the better. Biochar is a nutrient-rich soil amendment ideal for enhancing natural forest growth or mixing into the ground to improve crop yields for orchards and vineyards. Another valuable benefit is that you can sell biochar. Although commodity prices are subject to the ebb and flow of market pricing, our customers were getting $125 per cubic yard in 2023.
