What's Left Behind
Your Waste Rebuilds Your Soil
Every other disposal method takes something away from your land or leaves a problem behind. Air Burners is the only method that turns woody agricultural waste into a direct benefit for the ground you farm.
Orchard Waste Removal
Whether you grow fruit or nuts, orchard waste can accumulate quickly. Air Burners offers a full range of fully portable machines—from the compact Boss Series to higher-capacity FireBoxes—giving every operation a right-sized solution for everything from seasonal trimmings to full orchard-block removals. No grinding, no hauling, no sorting. Waste filled with sticks, pebbles, metal wires, and stakes goes straight in.
For in-field work, the portable Boss Series — including the BurnBoss and TrackBoss — can be positioned directly where the waste is generated, then moved easily to the next location. For higher-volume operations and large debris piles, the FireBox Series delivers more capacity, handling whole logs, root balls, and bulk debris with throughput rates built for demanding orchard operations. Every machine ships fully assembled and is ready for immediate use.

Vineyard Waste Removal
Pruning season creates massive amounts of woody debris. Leave it on the ground and you’re leaving next season’s pest pressure right where your vines grow.
Air Burners machines accept vineyard waste with the wire still attached — it falls to the bottom of the chamber and can be pulled for recycling. No sorting, no wire removal, no separate pass through the rows. The BurnBoss and TrackBoss are designed to move through tight vineyard rows without damaging vines, eliminating debris as you prune.
The CharBoss goes a step further — converting woody vine material directly into biochar that can be worked back into your vineyard floor to improve soil structure, water retention, and long-term vine health. Pruning season stops being a chore and starts returning value to your land.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you dispose vineyard waste without hauling it away? Why not just leave the piles and burn them later?
Cut debris left in piles becomes a breeding ground for insects and fungal disease. Borers, bark beetles, and other pests hatch in the debris and migrate to your healthy standing crops. Eliminating waste immediately after cutting removes that risk entirely and means you’re not spending time and labor coming back to deal with piles later.
Do I need to remove wire and stakes before loading or can an air curtain burner handle orchard waste on site?
All Air Burners machines except the CharBoss accept waste with vineyard wire, metal stakes, and hardware still attached. The metal falls to the bottom of the burn chamber and can be pulled out for recycling afterward. The CharBoss requires wire-free material to protect its biochar mechanism.
Can I use an Air Burner on a no-burn day?
In many regulated areas, yes. Air Burners machines are tested and proven by the US EPA and are compliant for use on designated no-burn days in a number of air quality districts, including parts of California. Regulations vary by district, so contact our team to confirm what’s approved in your area.
How does operating cost compare to a grinder?
Significantly lower. A 1,000 HP orchard grinder burns roughly 100 gallons of diesel per hour. An Air Burner runs on approximately 3 gallons per hour. There’s also no hauling, no tipping fees, and no labor cost for pre-sorting or wire removal. What’s left behind improves your soil rather than damaging it.
Is the ash safe to put back on my fields?
Yes. The ash and biochar produced are natural soil components, the same materials that have improved soil fertility for centuries. They raise pH, add potassium and calcium, improve soil structure, and support microbial activity. Unlike wood chips, which tie up nitrogen and disrupt soil biology, ash and biochar are genuinely beneficial to orchard and vineyard soils.
